We have the Kill A Watt Energy Detector
Plug your appliances or electronics into the Kill A Watt™ meter, and see how much energy they consume. A large LCD display measures consumption by the Kilowatt-hour. The device also allows you to monitor Volts, Amps, Watts, Watt hours, Volt Amps, Line Frequency, and Power Factor.
Kill A Watt™ meters are available for check-out through the lending program at both Santa Clara City Libraries. You can borrow one for three weeks at a time and may be able to renew it three times as long as there are no holds on it.
