Storytimes are currently on break. Fall programming begins on Tuesday, September 10. Please consult the Kids Calendar for storytime schedule.

Programs are subject to change. Please check the online events calendar for the most up-to-date information.

We offer several Storytimes for children of all ages:

Baby Lapsit (Ages 0-12 months)
This program is for parents/caregivers and their little ones to learn simple fingerplays and actions, songs, and early literacy tips. Bring a blanket for you and your baby to sit on. Please do not bring older siblings to this program. Space is limited. Class fills up quickly. Please arrive early to find parking. Doors will close when room is at capacity or 15 minutes after the program begins.

Young 1s (Ages 12-24 months only)
Now that your little ones are more mobile, this program focuses on simple books, action/movements, songs, and fingerplays. Parents are asked not to bring younger or older siblings to this program. Space is limited. Class fills up quickly. Please arrive early to find parking. Doors will close when room is at capacity or 15 minutes after the program begins.

Toddling Twos (Ages 24-36 months only)
Children will be introduced to group participation, new books and stories, and the magic of storytelling. Space is limited. Children MUST be at least 24 months old to attend this program. Younger siblings are allowed to attend as long as there is an older sibling of the appropriate age. Please attend only one session. We appreciate your cooperation.

Preschool Storytime (Ages 3-5)
Similar to preschool circle times, children ages 3 to 5 (with a favorite adult) will enjoy longer books, flannel board stories, songs, and fingerplays/actions stories, that help build early literacy skills. Younger or older siblings are allowed to attend as long as there is a child of the appropriate age. We appreciate your cooperation. Space is limited. Please arrive early to find parking. Doors will close when room is at capacity or 15 minutes after the program begins.

Family Storytime (All ages)
Children of all ages (with their favorite adult) are welcome to Family Storytime. Songs, fingerplays, and longer stories are geared to children who are accustomed to storytime programs. Space is limited. Please arrive early to find parking. Doors will close when room is at capacity or 15 minutes after the program begins.

Space can be at a premium during many of these programs. It is for this reason that ALL seating is on a first come first served basis. Saving seats for others is not permitted.

Please note that we take occasional breaks from Storytime throughout the year. Consult our Kids Calendar to ensure that Storytime is in session, or call Youth Services at 1-408-615-2916.
