In order to get a library card, you will have to show us a photo ID and a secondary ID imprinted with your name. Both IDs must be current and original and not photocopies.

Examples of an acceptable photo identification are:

  • a DMV issued ID card
  • a work ID card
  • a student ID card
  • a current passport
  • a credit card with your photo on it

Examples of an acceptable secondary identification are:

  • a printed check
  • a social security card
  • postmarked first class mail delivered to you
  • a credit card
  • a rental agreement
  • insurance cards

If you have any questions about whether you have the proper acceptable identification, give us a call and we can help you determine that.
