Braille Braille Collection
Over 300 board books, picture books, easy readers, and chapter books in Braille are available for children and young adults who are blind or visually impaired. This collection is located opposite the children’s CD-Rom collection.
Playaway Playaway Digital Books
Press PLAY and go! Similar to an iPod, these audiobooks are small, lightweight, and easy to use. Each Playaway holds one complete audiobook, regardless of length.
    
Caldecott Medal Arielle Nadler Caldecott Collection
This collection contains Caldecott Award winning titles. While the books in this collection are for library use only, additional copies of each title are available for checkout. This collection is located in the Picture Book area.

Early Learning

Parenting Collection
This collection contains books for parents of young children on topics such as playing games with your baby or toddler, and activities to enhance early literacy and learning. The Parenting Collection is located within the Picture Book area.
World Languages World Languages
This collection contains children’s books in other languages: Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
Large Print Large Print
Children who need or enjoy larger type size (16-point) can find popular chapter books in this collection. These books are located next to the Braille Collection, across from the children's CD-Roms.
Graphic Novels Graphic Novels for Kids
Graphic novels, appropriate for children up to 6th grade, are kept in the Juvenile Fiction area. Look for the Pikachu, Wolverine, and Spiderman on the wall above this collection!
